About Me

My photo
Dan Foulds
I am a retired Army Aviator, retired medevac pilot, and full-time tour-boat captain on Savannah's waterways. Jeanne Foulds and I own Island Shuttle Boat Tours. I blog about Helicopter-EMS, Boats, and Bars, and love all three. I have written extensively for Southern Tides Magazine, and I wrote the the "Focus on Safety" column for Vertical Valor Magazine for five years. To borrow some words from the gent at Etymology Online, " If I did this right, I can say at the end of life I bundled up my worst qualities -- obsessiveness, impudence, narcissism -- and made something vaguely useful with them."
